The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences is home to many of Canada's leading scholars.  Each year our international award winning faculty inspires young bright minds through teaching excellence and stimulating research. We attract over 3,500 students from over 100 countries including China, India, Germany, Lebanon, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates and the USA to name but a few.

What can you do with an arts degree?  Anything you want!  Our graduates work in a variety of intriguing professions - they're authors, interpreters, military strategists, film wardrobe supervisors, development workers, environmental activists, business analysts, journalists and TV actors.  Our alumni range from social workers helping street kids to Grammy Award-winning recording engineers and foreign diplomats.
