Cy Giacomin - Undergraduate Student
Music

His Dalhousie experience culminated in winning the 2008 Concerto Night Competition in Composition. The honour of having an original composition played live by the Dalhousie Concerto Night Orchestra was the highlight of his academic career. “It was an opportunity few in any music program are fortunate enough to have,” he says. “I’m eternally grateful to the department for this honour.”  Read more...

Meredith Schwartz - Graduate Student (Phd)
Philosophy

Meredith has been awarded the prestigious CIHR Douglas Kinsella Doctoral Award for Research in Bioethics. She was also awarded a Canada Graduate Scholarship at the doctoral level, and holds an honorary Killam Scholarship at Dalhousie University.  Read more...

Anthony Stewart - Faculty

Dr. Stewart has penned a pointed critique of the university system and the challenges evident in integration at post-secondary institutions.
