2nd Annual FASS/Science Alumni Excursion to McNabs Island
Saturday, August 18
9:00a.m. - 3:30p.m.
Depart from Fisherman's Cove, Eastern Passage
Join the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences for a day of history, nature and fun on McNabs Island.
In the morning, explore the old forts and buildings with our experts; after lunch, learn a bit about plants and wildlife who make the island their home.
Or join us for the boat ride and chart your own course!
Boxed lunches can be ordered in advance for $10 each. Please note that each participant is responsible for bringing enough snacks and water for the day. The event will take place rain or shine, so please dress for the weather. In the event that marine conditions prevent the charter boat from traveling to and from the island, participants will be reimbursed.
